PHASE 2. Design, Fit-out, Turn-key implementation

Office Design and Fit-out Steps

Step 1. Consultation with Stay In Hungary Kft to understand and determine your needs, listen to your ideas, review the budget and timetables, while offering advice and guidance.

Step 2. Project and site evaluations: assessing the proposed buildings and their available space options to ensure compliance with the requirements, cost calculations, and test-fit.

Step 3. Stay In Hungary Kft. recommends design teams to be invited to bid for your office design.

Step 4. Start of the workplace appraisal to get to know your business and the needs of the new office. We will take time to do the following:

  • Watch your business work and understand your people
  • Analyze your corporate structure, processes and paths of communication, the nature of tasks, working style (sedentary or nomadic), and corporate culture
  • Consider your plans for potential future growth, number of visitors, branding and desired image projection to clients or shareholders
  • Attend to social & environmental concerns, operational and technical workplace needs (square footage/meter, open/cellular, reception, storage, emergency exit areas, meeting rooms, audio-visual, air-conditioning, IT, kitchens, parking, privacy requirements, etc.)

The better we understand your company, the better we plan it, making for a smooth and enjoyable journey in the growth of your business.

Step 5. Test fit drawings - understanding how everything will fit in your new building and how you can make best use of your space.

Step 6. Multiple concept drawings - an overall preview of how the new office will look; this will give you a real feel and flavor of your future office.

Step 7. Selection of the right design concept and team, contracting

Step 8. Detailed space planning using 3D designs, technical specification preparation including finishing touches and fittings to see how the new layout actually flows.

Step 9. Suppliers tendering, selection, negotiations, contracting, orders

Step 10. Start of fit-out/construction. By this time the following need to be specified:

  • Furniture layout, partitions, glass and mobile walls, wood/carpet, windows and blinds, lighting, fixtures, and air-conditioning
  • The density of occupation in open plan areas, (which may require additional ventilation and heating/cooling), the location of "hot spots" around service centers and other areas with high equipment loads
  • AV installations in meeting rooms, digital signage system, water, drainage needs for vending machines, kitchens, tea points/coffee rooms, floor-box locations, electric, IT, Voice-over IP phone cabling, server cooling
  • The specifications of uninterrupted power supply and standby power generation, copier/printer, electronic authentication system, special sound protective system
  • The location of company signs (fa�ade, reception) and all the alterations from standard fit-out elements offered by the developer.

Step 11. Technical handover, corrections
