Albemarle Project outline

In 2009, Stay In Hungary Kft was hired by the US-based, New York Stock Exchange listed Albemarle Corporation to help them set-up their new global Shared Service Center in Budapest, Hungary. A unique office was created on 1152 sqm plus a 300 sqm terrace for 70 employees on the 6th floor of the Capital Square office building (Best Office Building Development of 2009). Our cooperation has covered 3 PHASES:

PHASE 1. Find and secure the right office space (Temporary serviced office and Permanent space)
PHASE 2. Design and fit-out until turn-key implementation, Project Management
PHASE 3. Office Grand Opening (Press Conference & Opening Party with 168 guests) and PR campaign (TV, Radio, Press, Web)

  • Time scope: 6 months for PHASES 1 and 2, another 6 months for PHASE 3, total of 1 year, August 2009 - August 2010.

  • Large savings has been reached in Phases 1, 2, 3 in terms of better lease terms, larger fit-out contribution, lower fit-out, furnishings, Grand Opening and PR costs (besides executive time and energy)

  • Location: XIII ker, Váci road 76, 6th floor, Capital Square building, Best Office Building Development of 2009.

  • Office Size: 1152 sqm plus 300 sqm terrace, expansion possibility

  • Number of workstations: 70.
